What started with an import of traditional furniture, lighting  and accessories from India has now become a trendy collection.
With a lot of trial and error over several years and immense patience Orientals has been able to bring a steady range of
attractive products for use in homes, hotels, restaurant and offices alike. New products are added frequently and those
looking for new innovative items are never disappointed. There is therefore an entire refreshing range of sellable items at any time.
In fact many retailers are selling almost complete collection of Orientals.

passion, patience & perseverance
Orientals has always believed in success. Traditionally India has always been attractive. Its use of glass mosaic in lighting
existed for quite some time but Orientals innovated its use in wooden furniture. The journey to this introduction was long
and arduous.The passion that Orientals pursued required all the patience to explain, to the suppliers in India, the European
requirements and standards that demanded perseverance of the highest order. Many trials & errors eventually resulted in
the existing range of sellable products. Many-many trips were made to the interiors of India where the traditional works 
are done to understand their methods of working to guide development of items for use in European homes. This is an
on-going process to keep the range fresh and alive.

Although many companies score high with Fair Trade, no child-labor, good working conditions, Orientals through its regular visits, is assured 99% in areas of its production of Fair Trade. Orientals  ensures through its agent in India that manpower working for it is paid reasonably by their  standards, get adequate medical care, get healthy food and clean potable water and safe and friendly working environment. Orientals demands from its Indian agent that children of their workers are enabled to study at least up to Primary School. We want to assure buyers of products from Orientals that a part of their sales proceeds are going to the upliftment of the poor, underprivileged but deserving people of India, who are associated with Orientals.
